Pinda is an award-winning creative director who has channeled her energy and imagination into crafting exceptional branding campaigns across both traditional and new media. A talented art director, wife and best of all, mother of three beautiful girls, she excels in art, photo direction and graphic design. She is also an accomplished digital, editorial and packaging designer with a passion for logos, invitations, fashion styling
and shopping!
As a well sought-after Art Director, Pinda worked at Essence magazine for over 7 years, with a focus on fashion, beauty, relationships and healthy living, while she guided the brand through redesigns and many franchise launches. She also has worked on many print and digital campaigns as Art Director at Stage Stores and Creative Director at Uncle Funky’s Daughter, a natural hair care brand.
Beyond her full-time roles, Pinda has an extensive portfolio of freelance projects that includes collaborations with AAFCA, the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame, and the Waco Family and Faith Film Festival, where she has demonstrated her ability to craft impactful branding and creative direction for diverse audiences and organizations.
Originally from Brooklyn, NY, where she received her masters at Pratt Institute, Pinda was raised in Trinidad, West Indies and went to the University of Houston, Texas where she earned her BFA.
